The first regional event for the tobacco industry in Asia, TABINFO, fulfilled it’s promises, when finishing the third and last day. All the five halls of the new KLCC-Kuala Lumpur Convention Center were booked out. And the round about 250 exhibitors from 36 countries could serve the questions and the needs of more than 3.769 visitors; they came from 61 countries to Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia and not only from Asia: from A, like Argentina, until Z, like Zimbabwe. The most expert-represented countries were of course: Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and China. The participants at the accompanying congress were listening to the 25 speakers and gave best votes for the quality of the speeches. The first TABINFO regional event really proves to be an international event for the tobacco industry in Asia.

The next tobacco-related shows presented by the event-coalition (TR-Tobacco Reporter, Raleigh, USA/TJI-Tobacco Journal International, Mainz, Germany/ DKM-Dr. Kater Marketing, Duesseldorf, Germany) will be:

	TABEXPO 26 – 29 November 2007 in Paris
	TABINFO 11 – 13 November 2008 in Sao Paolo
	TABINFO 10 – 12 November 2009 Bangkok
